Work with us on kitchens
We design kitchens, price them line by line and hold the customer contract. We do not do the making or the restricted work, so we are contracting a joinery workshop, a kitchen designer, an authorised plumber, a registered electrician and an LBP builder in Auckland first.
What we are looking for
- A joinery workshop that can manufacture and install kitchen cabinetry, with capacity for a small but steady flow, and terms we can publish.
- A kitchen designer to run in-home consults: measure, two scaled layouts and a line-item budget within five working days, for a fixed fee per consult.
- An authorised plumber and a registered electrician, current on their public register, who hand over compliance records as a matter of course.
- A Licensed Building Practitioner for structural work, so we can open our Remodel package honestly.
How we work
- You are named in the customer's contract. We do not hide who does the work.
- Scope comes to you as a drawn, itemised document, not a phone call and a hope.
- You supply your insurance certificate and your licence or registration number, which we check on the public register.
- We check no register and make no claim about you that you have not supplied and we have not verified.
How we pay
The customer pays us on a published schedule, and each partner is paid from the matching milestone. Plumbers and electricians are paid on invoice once compliance records are received. Everything by bank transfer and tracked, with no retentions we have not told you about up front.
- 20% on signing the contract. Less your $595 consult credit.
- 40% when your cabinetry goes into manufacture. This pays the workshop's material order.
- 30% on delivery to site.
- 10% on completion. Once the plumber's and electrician's compliance records are handed over.
The customer-side detail is on the pricing page, published before anyone signs anything.
Being straight about our stage
We are new. We have no job history to point at and we are not going to invent one. What we can offer a partner is drawn scopes instead of vague enquiries, a customer who has already paid for a plan and is therefore serious, and payment terms in writing.
